St Johns, Newfoundland

A group of us have been talking about going to St Johns for a good while now and 2 weeks ago we finally got to make it happen. Leaving Corner Brook at 6pm friday night and driving through the night. We followed the moon the whole way and arriving in town around 2:30am. Zombied out we unload the truck and prepare for saturday.

Saturday morning got on the go pretty early and went boarding for about 16 hours. We got the weather for sunday which consisted of 50+ mm of rain and realized that saturday was our only day to film.

Sunday came and brought the rain with it. So, after a much needed rest we went out to supper and a movie. We got to hang out with a lot of our friends and managed to get a nice few shots banked. Definitely going to do it again.

First Chair

Dec 26, opening day at Marble. I showed up an hour early and managed to get first chair of the 50th season of lift services. NBD.

3 Hour Naps

We have a solid shred crew here in Corner Brook. With about 4-6 inches of snow on the ground we usually go to an old driving range and set up a couple of things. This little edit was all Matts doing and sums up yesterday afternoon.



After 9pm a few of us headed to Karls house and had a little go at His new backyard jib. Instead of the down bar from the past years, we now have a 20 foot box that Karl and Yvan built. Here is a photo of Keough.



Around 12:30 Matt, Bowen and myself loaded up the Matts truck and went to Deer Lake. When we arrived we realized that there wasn't much snow around but we still found a nice ice breaker rail with the help of Matt Goulding. 3 truck loads of arena snow and we were golden.

For the ones who never got to bank a shot at least you banked a pretty savage bail, and maybe a tetanus shot. Hit the highway back to CB at around 4:40am. Picked my car up from Karls and got home 5:30am. Took a 3 hour nap and off to work. Oh, yeah! Little snap of Bowen Below.

Went Snowboarding on Halloween

Better late than never I guess but been kinda busy. We got snow and hiked up to a hill with the lights and genny. Set up a flat bar and went to town. Peep the shots!
